On Saturday, we welcomed Avery into the Church. Our other two kids were baptized after the mass, but our new priest prefers to do it during the mass. This was fine with us. The only tricky part was having extra hands to watch all of the kids. Jaycie and Randy are Avery's godparents, so between us we had 5 extra kids 5 years and younger. Thankfully, Gunkle and Aunt Lissa helped out with the big boys and the big girls behaved themselves in the pew with Jaycie and Randy. We had plenty of family in attendance: Mimi, Papa, Uncle Nana, Aunt Kelsi, Amelia, Addy, Great Grandpa Johnson, Gunkle, and Aunt Lissa. After the baptism we came back to our house to eat dinner and hang out. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!

Avery before the baptism. She's wearing a gown worn by my mom, me, Kendall, and now her!

Father Bill pouring the water. Avery wasn't a fan. She cried until we got back to our seats, then by God's Grace, she fell asleep!

Proud parents
