Kendall's Performance

Here's a little video of Kendall dancing and singing around our living room. Enjoy!

Kendall Ballerina

Kendall is signed up for ballet class at the YMCA this summer. I will post pics of her first class later, but here are a few of her trying on her new outfit. She was quite pleased with her look!

Happy Mother's Day

Here's a picture of me with my babies on Mother's Day!

Pictures by Braden

Here are a few pictures Braden took of us. I'm not quite sure he's ready to start his own business just yet...

Little Rookies Soccer

This spring Braden had a chance to play soccer for the first time. He joined the Little Rookies soccer program through the YMCA. They played each Saturday at 10:30. Kendall and I usually opted out of the games because we had errands to run. We were able to go and watch Braden's last game...and it was so adorable! There were about a million people at the SIUE fields where the kids play. Luckily we were able to find his Dark Green Team and watch him in action. He scored 3 GOALS that game! He enjoyed it and I think we may sign up again in the fall if Kindergarten's homework load isn't too heavy :)

Movie Saturday

One Saturday in late April we found ourselves with nothing to do...trust me, that's rare! We decided to take advantage of the $5 Club and go see How to Train Your Dragon. It was a very cute movie and we all enjoyed it. Kendall especially enjoyed the popcorn. Braden loved his Twizzlers. After we got home, the kids and Dustin blew bubbles out on our back deck. It was a great Family Fun Day!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Princess Kendall Grace!

It is hard to believe that Kendall is turning 3. I feel like we just brought her home yesterday. I love the sassy, sweet, girly-girl that she has grown into. The things she says make me laugh out loud. I love the way she sings nonsense to herself, the way she dances around our living room, how she insists on wearing dresses and sparkly shoes, and how she loves to crawl up on my lap. I never imagined we'd have such a "princess," but I wouldn't change her for the world. She makes me smile (most of the time), but she has a little stubborn streak in her too (no princess is a meek pushover!). God has blessed us with the perfect little girl for us and we thank Him each day for the gift that she is. Without her, the world would be much more dull (thanks in part to her constant sparkly footwear!).

Happy Birthday to my FAVORITE princess!
